I hear ya Bill, I'm going to be driving mine and have hardly had it out this year at all yet.

I haven't even had mine on the road yet. I did drive it around the yard though 😀

A dozen is a fine number for cookies but a Dozen Days and a wake-up even sounds even better.  We are now at 12 days and a wake-up  in our countdown.

Wish I could be there. Hopefully if I get moved in time I will be there next year. Still lots of shows here in Alaska coming up this year. Please post lots of pictures.

Gonna need way more than a dozen cookies for this group.

There's always the Western Meet in BC this September. Still a distance though. 🙂

Well, we are still in double digits but not much longer.  We are now at 11 days and a wake-up  in our countdown.

If we were NASA and our lift off was just  seconds away, the audible countdown would start at 10 and go 10, 9, 8, 7....... but we are not NASA and I can not do audible here so please note....... the FGMCC countdown to our first First Generation Monte Carlo Club  members arriving in Carlisle is now at 10 days and a wake-up.

It is our last day in double digits and tomorrow we will enter single digits

I was looking through the Carlisle Events ad on Facebook and saw the below comment from a fiero owner.  I refuse to dignify a comment to him.

Main attraction is not the best choice of words. Even when our club has had the largest numbers at that event I wouldn't consider our club the main attraction.

The first meet I ever went to was Norwalk ohio was a super chevy show. Was a low turnout for the show other than our group. I wrote to super chevy afterwards for something and said we were at the show, they replied back and said "your club was the show" so in fact our group has highlighted shows in the past and I'm sure we will highlight this show this year! Thank you to all who will attend. See you there an just a couple short weeks.

I see I’m a little late to this party, but I just checked my email and saw the following (see attached pic).

Just how close are we separated from that “other” club?  And I assume first place would go to how many cars actually show up on the Show Field as opposed to are registered?  I’ll be sure to do an occasional count to keep the ladies in that club honest

I hope that I'm not kicked out of the group, I have one in my garage. It's overseeing the work on the Monte. It likes the BBC in the engine bay right now. I'm planning another 110 hp in the Fiero, manual 5 spd trans is factory. I'll take my punches at the meet😊 Did I mention that I like Crown Vic police cars too? Had 1 for a year, crazy!

Jim your future is now in question. lol. 😂. No matter the car they are all better than the alternative. Staying in the house playing games, drugs or crime.

So you bring the Fiero to the show and put a banner on it saying "I wish I was a First Gen Monte Carlo". We can park that among our club cars and I am certain the display will be a hit!

I don't know....those alternatives sounds better than owning/driving one of those things...

Maybe it's like driving a moped...fun to ride, you just don't want your friends to know, or see you...

Milton Bradley released the board game "Drugs or Crime" back in 1978 or so. Strangely enough the game didn't sell well so the project was scrapped and eventually covered up.

Glen, it is by the number of vehicles registered, not how many on the field.  As to your question on how far apart we are, I would say it isn't very close.  In looking at the fiero club website, I saw a post saying they had around 115 at the end of May.

BUT, like I told Aaron, they should go by size and weight because it would take at least e fieros to equal 1 First Generation Monte.

Really makes no difference to me how many they have, our members have more class, better looking cars but most of all better people but that is just my biased opinion.

There was a crown vic parked with the club on Friday last year, besides the occasional chop busting nobody cared 🤣 Except maybe one or two sketchy looking citizens 🤣

I'll play devils advocate, last year there was a Fiero in the hotel parking lot and it had hot rod power tour decals on it. If the were in fact genuine I'll give the guy props for that 🤘 Otherwise they should be parked over with the corvette owners 🤣
