How long have you had these desires? Three words; seek professional help. 3

DragCat Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 Loaded the tow truck and hooked up the trailer Took a nice ride through the country roads getting re-acclimated to having 25' behind me 🤣 with a the twists and turns 🤣 and making sure the tires weren't flat spotted from sitting even tho I put pads underneath. Now just triple checking to make sure I haven't forgotten anything before I load up Wed nite 7

Sids Monte Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 I will be coming to my first Carlisle and will be trailering my car for the first time. Some members put a bug in my ear that I should come to the Eastern meet at Carlisle while attending last years at the Syracuse Nat's. Somehow, I'm gonna pull it off and as I'm sure many of you can relate, I could use some more time. I'm arriving Thursday afternoon, solo and assume I come directly to the hotel? Would I unload my car and hotel stuff and then drop truck and trailer (I have Carlisle Trailer parking pass). I'm sure it wont be an issue but I might need a hand after I arrive. Soooo, looking forward to this. Appreciate the input. 4
cny first gen 71 Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 We're heading down Thursday also leaving Syracuse appx 9 am. Meeting another member we are both trailering our cars. Probably meet him at Nedro exit/on ramp on rt 81 a little after 9am if you would like to run down with us. Not really sure which way your coming from. I assume rt 88 we should be in bingimntown maybe 10:30ish. 3
Sids Monte Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 I'm coming from Queensbury NY so I'll be heading down rt.88. I'll probably be a few hours or more behind you so meeting up then might be tough. I sent my cell via direct message. If you have any issues, get in touch. 1

That is just how the members of this club operate, and I am fortunate and proud to be a part of it. 7
Jared Richey Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Dropped off parts at concord plating yesterday to get chromed. ✔️ About to get on the parkway. Stopped for lunch. Good trips everyone. 6
Canuck Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 I’m waiting at the airport, flight is delayed, I dislike airports. 😂 3
Canuck Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Ryan from Utah left yesterday with his 72 Monte on the trailer. He’s picking me up in Pittsburg tomorrow morning. 12
Dtret Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Truck AND Trailer BOTH went into the shop today. This could be interesting 🤔. If you see me hitchhiking at least acknowledge with a honk. 3 2 1
Glen Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 As per my stellar organizational skills, “Thor” arrived this morning as planned and I was actually able to get a spot in front of the crib. Neighbors are on board with shuffling their cars around once I pick up the trailer Wednesday morning. Car will be loaded Wednesday afternoon and then we’ll hit the road early Thursday. Slowly putting things in a pile to load up over the next 2 days. See you folks soon… safe travels to all, please. 9

Stop and check the trailer often. Make sure you have spare tires. Keep an eye on the trailer bearings too. A simple touch on all 4 rims, at the center, to make sure one isn’t running too warm. Check safety chains and hitch too. 4 1

Yea I think we can fit 2 Fiero's in the back 🤣 Like Dennis said, take your time , I already picked out my 1st safety check stop ( tied downs and such) after the country twisting back roads before I hit the interstate. I have to deviate a tad because the closest onramp to the interstate merges into the fast lane 🙃 I'd like to smack the person that designed that CF 🤣 2
