May 28th ALMOST finds us in the teens in our countdown.  Today the countdown brings us to the last of the twenty days.  As of today we are at 20 days and a wake-up before our first members arrive in Carlisle.  Tomorrow our countdown enters the teens.

Whoa, what was that chill that just went up my spine?  I think it was the realization that we are only 19 days and a wake-up before our members begin arriving in Carlisle for our Eastern Meet!!!!

When I was 18 I entered the US Air Force.  18 seems like such a long time ago but 18 days and a wake-up isn't long at all and that is where our countdown is today.  The excitement builds!!

In just 17 days and a wake-up Carlisle will start seeing the largest in Flux of first gen Monte's and FGMCC members ever.

SWEET!!!  IT IS NOW JUNE, THE SAME MONTH WE WILL BE HOLDING OUR 25TH EASTERN MEET!!!  WE ARE NOW AT SWEET 16 DAYS AND A WAKE-UP  IN THIS COUNT DOWN FOR THE EASTERN MEET.

Almost forgot to post this. Last year when the weather forecast was calling for rain the entire week, I found some disposable 'Car Condoms' to help keep the cars somewhat protected from the rain. They're pretty thin, but re-usable if you take just a little caution when installing & removing them. 

Turns out they're even good overnight in the parking lot to keep the dew off the cars. Every morning it was so bad, it looked like rain had fallen, and also mixed in with sand flies. Me personally, I HATE washing cars, plus it helped keep the water off the vinyl top and resulting water catch area near the lower window corners.

Some guys slipped it over their regular car covers, to help keep that dry too.

Anyways, the ones I had original ordered appear to be unavailable, but the ones below seem to have the same dimensions as the old ones.

Me too ! I'll wash mine before it goes on the trailer, after that probably nothing. Except maybe the vinyl top and windows in the am 🙃

Thanks for the heads up Joe, now i have to add that to the check list before i start packing.  Opened the pool today so i should be able to get to the car this week sometime!! Hopefully!!!   lol   As i haven't even touched it from last year, other than starting her up now and then!!!

It's not too late to decide to attend.

Less than half a month to go!  Only two short weeks left.  You read that right, we only have 14 days and a wake-up  b-4 we start arriving in Carlisle,  PA for the Eastern Meet.

Got the tow vehicle scheduled for an oil change and fluids and so on for next week. Man its getting close now 🤘

I may be Cruze’ing’ to Carlisle.

I panicked. I’m ok now. FYI I had to sit on the ground ( because I couldn’t hold my legs in the air) just to get my infamous slippers in the shot. Oh and yes from one post to the next was the actual time lapse of me moving this ….

Two weeks from today our members will start arriving in Carlisle for our Eastern Meet.   That is just 13 days and a wake-up away!!!  We can hardly wait to see everyone again.

I hear ya Bill, I'm going to be driving mine and have hardly had it out this year at all yet.
