It looks like Mediterranean Blue code 25, I don't know if I've ever seen a Monte in that color

Interesting. That color was not offered for the Monte. It would be interesting to see the body tag on this on. Maybe a special order paint.

It is not a 72 factory color.  Doesn't even look like a Chevrolet color.  In the photos it looks to be a Powder Blue.

It is an interesting colour..... But does appear to be a repaint.

One of my least favorite colors across the manufacturers , I call it baby bird eggshell blue. I will say its not as obnoxious IMHO on the Monte compared to others Ive seen

Carolina Blue. Color only offered in N Carolina, maybe SC too.  Special color was the NC tarheels color)

Cutlass also had a Carolinian. My friend had one brand new same color. Rare as hens teeth today. Mid 70s cutlass

Not the only 72 I've seen this color but only around here. Kevin's uncle had one for a while. Here are pics of it from like 2007 at a cruise in. Jr would end up with it back around 2016 17 or 18. It did have a custom stripe on the hood I think later done away with.

Not a lot of people know about the "Carolina blue" or special region specific special cars unless you are from that specific area. This car with only 4k miles is probably 1 of 1 that still exist in this condition

I have seen a few Camaros in my area that were Special Carolinas Editions. I haven’t seen any Montes.

Auction site says "still available" so ?????
