wait till you see my idea on the bumperettes' . I think everyone will like it..  looking for pictures of the helicopter kit I built when I was 20 right before I went to the marines. It was fairly easy to do.  scary to fly but one could figure that with self taught flying lessons.

Here's a few of it during restoration at hot rods by Buff 

Probably a 75k-100k restoration today.  Back then in 2010ish he had 40 or so invested. I sold him many parts for this car.

Thanks for that link. I saw Tommy's photo album of the restoration but did not get it from since I thought he might want it for sentimental reasons.

It's a "farm kid" thing Steve.....

Back in the day when you didn't have access or the cash to buy something new...... Or there just wasn't time, you built what you needed to make it work. 

It is an artform, but these days with all the modern "advancements", it's slowly disappearing.

Very nice SS! Someone got a good deal. That car has a pair of my compressor brackets on it.
