If not paint, maybe a wrap. Depending on how good it looks, it might be indiscernible to the naked eye unless you were right on top of it or to feel it.  And it would all but completely alleviate any chances of the dreaded rust around the back glass. 

Gotta go now… I’m gonna patent/trademark this, my latest ingenious idea. 
 

Could always go with the camo wrap for the roof..... Or the whole car. 

Makes stalking a little easier. ;)

that's different for sure.   great ideas for my first gen convertible project.  need to find the donor car first.  oh but I will              I will
