In search of that Monte.... 1970 mist green

[MN Monte]

I am looking for a Monte similar to what I had back in my high school days.  Ideally would be a mist green 70 with buckets, console and gauge package.  I realize there is a leads forum as well but figured it can't hurt to ask if anyone has a match out there they might be looking to sell.

Open to other colors and years but console and buckets are way up there on my list.  Only a 402 would trump those two needs!

Sage advice, you are correct sir!  Lots of nice ones out there but also plenty of sketchy ones.  Won't do site unseen.

Good advice. I purchased a 72 Monte sight unseen once but did have a club member local to the car look at and drive it for me. It was only $6,500 at the time so didn’t gamble much money on it. I also know of others who purchased cars sight unseen after having a thorough inspection done with good results. I sold the low mile 72 Monte last year sight unseen but he knew I was a trusted source. When he saw it in person he said the car was nicer than I described. I personally am pretty risk averse so if I’m spending any significant amount of money I need to see it first before finalizing the deal. There are always flaws you see in person that don’t show up in photos/videos.
