The continual price gouge of these cars is ridiculous, remember what they cost new, pennies on a dollar. let's just make it so no one but RICH Folks can have it all. and gen z'ers can suck it!!! they will never get it. hippies ruined the world, i know i was raised by them and the state of Illinois children and family services, they are another JOKE. ok I'm out. of gas. 1 Quote
Canuck Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 $45k seems high for the gold small block low option car. It is very nice but hard to get that for a bench seat small block. 1 Quote
420ponies Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 I'm liking the Blue One with the perfect wheels !! 1 Quote

I’m purely speculating, but I’m gonna say condensation from the AC. It is still on “MAX” in the interior photos, and perhaps they left it running while they took all the pictures. You can also see condensation on the asphalt under the right exhaust tip to support this theory. I would apply some of the gorilla tape from my toolbox to address that. It’s not like it’s one of Dennis’ cars leaving oil, trans fluid, coolant, banana fragrance etc everywhere it’s parked. 2 2 Quote
Marks71 Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 I wonder how rare the orange 72 is with the base 350 and a posi rear with the f41. Was posi standard with the f41 or a separate option? 1 Quote
420ponies Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 (edited) My '72 had a 2:73 posi 10 Bolt under it and I believe it was ordered that way. from what I can read from the build sheet(under back seat in the seat springs show posi traction) and F41 suspension. I had thought all along it was a 3:42 gear. Was a 2bbl, 350 motor Edited June 17, 2024 by 420ponies added content 1 Quote
Marks71 Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 It’s pretty cool that aside from the SS option that automatically came with some specific options as a package, with additional options available from there, the base cars could be optioned by individual line items to mix and match as desired. Unlike today where options come in multiples as a package deal. 1 Quote
Canuck Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 In 1972 they had the Custom package which was a group of comfort/convenience options also. 1 1 Quote
Chevy Dave Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Positraction Wasn't Standard with the F41 option or the SS option. 3 Quote
