Dennis T and I went to the all generations Monte Car club meet in Fairborn, Ohio the last couple of days. Had a great time, met some really great people, and also got to see Ryan M. (RazzNdazz) again, (fresh from last week at Carlisle), and also Larry Gilbert (Leghome) & his wife Glendia too. Lots of laughs, good weather and good food. Perfect recipe for a wonderful time.

Now I can park my butt in the La-Z-Boy for a week and empty out the DVR, before getting ready for the Syracuse Nationals in a few weeks.

He doesn't typically like to eat that often, it's me that is usually planning at least two meals ahead, lol

There were about a dozen first gens there, with more cars expected to come today. I had to leave early to head home so didn't get to see the entire group that was expected. It actually goes thru to Sunday at that show as well.

I saw some pics online, looks like a great turn out and great mix of cars!    Glad you all enjoyed it.

I had a great time. A lot of really nice cars and people too. It was a learning experience for me as I got to see the inner workings of the show and all the hard work it takes to pull these off. As far as the eating thing, I think I’ve gained 20 pounds in the last two weeks, no more belt necessary ( lol).

This was our second year that we attended.  Brought both 1st Gens and had a great time.  Now that Sandi is also retired we are making plans for more shows like the Eastern Meet in Somerset, want to do the 2024 Pigeon Forge Rod Run.  The Montes there were awesome and I met Ryan who was very kind and helped when we arrived.  Car guys are awesome.
