RON T Posted March 25 Author Posted March 25 I’m pleased to announce another FGMCC member has signed up to attend the Eastern Meet in Somerset Ky ,!!! His name is Dale Bledsoe . He and his Mrs are located in Knoxville TN. They have a 1970 Monte and are planning driving it up from Tenn early Friday.. This will be their first FGMCC meet and we are proud to have them attend.. This makes 26 that have signed up ,to this date and we are looking forward to seeing everyone.. there are several new comers that have never attended An Eastern meet before , let’s all make them feel welcome.!. in other news, only 57 days till our Eastern meet. You still have time to sign up ! I also spoke to Keith Floyd the president of Somernites Cruise events and we are supposed to meet up week after next to discuss some planning. He indicated he may have a souvenir for each of our members attending the meet from their club.. The packets with all the materials Youl need at the meet are almost put together. Takes hours to assemble these. Like I probably mentioned before, I may need some help Wednesday evening to assemble goodie bags, a lot of things to put inside . If your arriving Wednesday please volunteer to assist,👍.. RON T Posted March 31 Author Posted March 31 FOR THE MEMBERS THAT ARE ATTENDING THEIR FIRST FGMCC EASTERN MEET IN SOMERSET KY As you’ve probably heard by now, There are several Trophy 🏆 Plaques that can be won during this meet, . Plaques will be awarded to individual first gen monties on Saturday evening the 24 th after out Club Dinner. Our dinner is at 6 pm.. You will be given a voting sheet as well as individual descriptions on how to vote for each category.. You will vote for the best in each category according to voting description.. A member cannot vote in any category for their own car.. Please do not vote for one car in all the categories.. if that is the case, you might want to pick that car as your favorite choice . You will receive written instructions in the packets you will receive when you arrive at the host hotel and register with me. Your vote , along with other members votes, will determine which car wins trophies.. The vote counting is unbiased , so choose how you vote wisely.. I have selected an experienced person and a club member to count these votes and to settle any discrepancy.. his decision is final.. There are also some trophy plaques to be awarded by the club president, the meet director and the meet co- coordinator.. I’m including a list of the trophy plaques you will be voting on. Members that have attended meets in the past are aware of this voting procedure.. 1. Best Paint 2. Best Interior 3. Best Stock 4. Best Street 5. Best Modified 6. Best Non-Restored 7. Best Engine 8.
