Some Last Minute Eastern Meet Instructions..

-There will be a water hose available and a soft brush and a quality soap for use on your Monte Carlo’s in our hotel area

-We will be sitting up a 10x20 canopy for club use in our hotel parking area

-You no longer need to get an assigned parking space for your Monte from the hotel personnel

-Tow trailers are to be parked in an adjacent gravel lot, not on the asphalt…Other vehicles can be parked on the hotel’s regular parking area

-Make sure you register with me soon after your arrival at the hotel in the designated times listed on activities pages in this forum

-There is a best trunk display award, so if you want to participate in that, please leave your trunk open so the judges can view

-You will receive an identification sheet to put in view on your dash for other members to view for voting.

-I need YOUR voting sheets and dash identification sheets turned into ME by 12 noon Saturday or before 

-There is an auto parts chain store very close to our hotel , if you need a part.

-Our Awards dinner is at Buffalo 🦬 Wings and Rings at 530 PM Saturday Evening, 

-Hotel provides Breakfast from 630 AM till 930 AM each day, There is No Charge

-Please be respectful of the Hotels other guests as this is a very busy weekend in Somerset. It will be packed. 

-Please be Courteous to Hotel Staff and respectful of their hotel facilities.. 

-You will receive name tags, as there are several new comers to an Eastern Meet, please turn those in at the Awards ..

-Door prizes will be awarded first after the dinner Saturday, Then the awards . 
 

-There has been a years worth of work and planning gone into an Eastern Meet by various people, I would like to thank each one of them ..

Just a reminder, if anyone wants me to bring any club merchandise to Kentucky (and Carlisle, Ohio, and Syracuse) to save shipping fees, let me know soon.

Also, for some of the members who have already placed an order on Club shirts to bring with me, we're planning to wash/dry the shirts for them, so they're clean & ready to wear upon delivery. Just another service we provide here at the FGMCC 😁. 

(they'll all be washed together, with new clothing only, in case you're wondering, lol)....

NOTE: It's an option that I discussed with the members when they placed the order, not something that's going to be done without consent first. Example, one member had specific detergent requirements due to allergies, so those would not be washed here.

In only 2 weeks from today!, members will begin their trek to Somerset Ky . I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people and businesses that help with door prizes and goodie bag materials… without them this meet wouldn’t be possible..

A special thanks to those that help with the hamburger grilling in Carlisle last year and for the donations for that cause, as it helped purchase some door prizes. Do not immediately cancel your room reservation as someone else may need it.
