Rob Peters Posted April 3 Posted April 3 If Willie doesn't have it, you may also want to check with Dennis Tretter (Dtret) who is near Cincinnati, Ohio or Leo Konik at koniks klassik's in Michigan. www.koniksklassiks.com . Willie, Dennis and Leo are all dues paying members of the club and can be completely trusted to deal with. rob 3 Quote
willie Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 Tkx Rob, I do have one, but thought on such a heavy item it would be better if the drive wasn't so far. I am not sure who is closer Dennis or Leo to Jim. I think if Dennis has one, he would be closer to you than if you wanted mine!! 2 Quote
Jim Bowtie Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Thanks everyone! Cincinnati isn't too far away. I know a 10 bolt is good enough, but are the brakes/backing plate the same as a 12 bolt? Quote
Michael Boyte Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Why would you even consider a 10 bolt as opposed to the 12 bolt , If you are going through all the work to install a complete rear-end ? That would definitely be one decision that I would always regret. There's probably more 10 bolts available and I am sure there's a reason for that. 2 Quote

Yes it's all pretty much the same except internals and the one upper control arm but j believe the 10 bolt one will work on the 12 bolt. 2 Quote

Not all Montes came from the factory with 12 bolts..... And if you're going for original. Quote
