Here’s a not so good shot of the original valve on my 71. I think there’s quite a bit missing. The lines are still amazingly intact tho.. IMG_3359.thumb.jpeg.884a4650ea928b103208ffb99ae1d8b3.jpeg

From what I can see, it looks to be correct but obviously bent to stop it from hitting the control arm. The link rod is long gone too.

Hey Ron, the bent arm is no problem as it can be taken off and straightened out. Looks like everything else is there, other than the arm..

But i am sure if you just took this pic, its time to change those fuel hoses and dont forget to save and reinstall that plastic plug in the hose!!!

Have you ever tried Mc master & Carr. They supply a lot of hard to find parts.

Yes I did. And no they don’t. Today I made a rather out of the way pit stop to Dayton Air Supply ( the company that originally made the G67 compressor and valves, back then it was called Dayton Air Products)) and asked them about the fittings and any other old stock they have. No old stock but they are checking on the fittings.

If you get ambitious, after we are done eating beef at The Park ( lol) , and you want it fixed up, take it off and send it to me. I also agree with Willie on the vent lines. One is cracked.

Still in development phase but not so bad for first try.  It will work perfectly as is.

Finished. I may try something different on the next batch but I know that they are a lot stronger then the originals.

These are just tests. If I do make some for sale I want to make sure the body is smooth. I did them all out of 1/4 28 ( because that’s the factory thread pitch) but the selection of parts wasn’t nearly as good as 1/4 20. I’ll keep the group informed on the progress.
