Nothing here anymore, land to them is much to valuable. They will sell and take the money and run. 5 years later they are putting up condos and 55 and older complexes!

That’s what happened to the drive ins in the  San Fernando Valley of So Cal. The one we most frequented was about 3 miles from the Van Nuys plant.  Which was also torn down to become a shopping center, titled “The Plant”.

I always wanted to build one just off the frontage acres we have by the road at the farm. not far from hwy 72 between Springfield and Decatur Ill.  would make it a double drive in and call it the Buffalo Twin Drive in. you would be able to see it from Hwy 72. maybe one day. My sons know of that dream of mine. maybe they may someday. Build a concession stand and a Drag booth too.
