Denny Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 anyone have a recommendation on replacement door panels? mine are good except for the carpet on the bottom and some scuffing on the edges, plus the cards are warpped Quote
jft69z Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 When I got my car from the previous owner, he had just installed front ones from PUI. Since I ended up redoing the entire interior after getting the car, I got new front & rears from Legendary. The quality difference between the two was night and day. Legendary isn't cheap, or quick, but the quality is undeniable compared to what was on the car. 5 Quote
Jared Richey Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 My customer ordered some PUI fronts assembled from opgi that was actually IN STOCK I know shocker lol My upholstery guy said they were the absolute WORST he's ever seen. The top part was not even made with a curve it was like straight lol we had to use originals. Now back in 2019 I special ordered RED from PUI for my 70 SS in the Monte pattern they fit absolutely perfect! 4 Quote
1970mcss Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 I found the replacement carpet at the Parts Place. They even had my dark green carpet pieces in stock. Someone had ordered them but never picked them up. Anyway, I removed the lower mouldings, removed the old carpet, trimmed the new carpet and re-installed the mouldings. Good luck 5 Quote
Canuck Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Mine are from PUI… my suggestions is to get the ones from Legendary Interiors. Worth the extra cost and the time it takes for them to make/ship them. I’m on my second set from PUI after they gave me a set under warranty. The second set had the same flaws. 6 Quote
