Forward viewing camera ???

Or a booster seat ?

Maybe even a booster seat wouldn't help. That is a different class of viewing angle to navigate from..

For future reference, I don't recommend buying Wilwood Master 260-8555 for our cars...as recommended by Wilwood for my '72 Monte. They also refuse to believe that the Monte or Chevelle came with an angled master from the factory (mind numbing). The correct Wilwood master would have been 261-16962.

Hard to believe they don't believe the Monte/Chevelle doesn't have an angled booster (same as on my 69 Camaro that I plugged the reservoir hole on), but they then say to get their angled M/C kit, lol.

In reality, the master itself is still angled, and as long as you do a proper bench bleed to get the air out, all will be fine. No different than any stock, cast iron reservoir that doesn't have that stupid hole drilled between the chambers like Wilwood has done. Baer Brakes, another big name doesn't seem to even offer remote reservoir type master cylinders.

I don't know if the ones they recommend now were available at the time, but when I was calling them all up to convert to 4 wheel disc, and proper bore size, that subject never came up. Would I get the new type moving forward, hard to say...

Take the "Missus" drag racing a few times..... After she's popped a few wheelies, she'll get the hang of it. ;)

I don't know much  ,but wouldn't it be better to have the 2  chambers separated so that if one became depleted/contaminated you would have half the brakes to get you home?   just don't seem to like the idea of that common hole   if there is a good reason  I want to know  maybe I missed it thanks!!

It’s most likely a safety. If the rear res. goes empty for some reason it will drain from the front, as you know. But the hole is high enough in the separator so as not to empty the front and still maintaining some braking.

Getting a little excited Brian ?? lol

I don't think JB Weld would stick to the metal, then it would sink to the bottom of the reservoir and get caught in the pistons..... Causing damage to the seals.

As for the hole, the only real purpose is to keep you from over filling one side or the other.... It's just one of those added "safety" features. Like a radiator overflow tank.

She sounds like my uncle's wife..... About the same height and refuses to drive anything that she can get into without a step ladder.... lol

It really is hard to believe they don't think it's angled on Montes. They even called me to tell me that I am "using the wrong booster bracket and to shim it straight or replace it". Even after telling the guy that I verified it with 100% certainty, he didn't believe me. So weird. I just gave up.

Send him this picture, and tell him he doesn't have a clue....

Kind of hard to shim it up, and even if you somehow managed to do that, the actuator rod would never line up with the brake pedal.

But then, leap year and daylight savings to me seemed hard to understand!🤔

Think of them as corrections to a "symetrical" reality...... Not everything can be created to perfection. ;)

Very correct way to say it Scott...As an Oc type individual, Symmetry can be hard to come by If not completely impossible.
