Marks71 Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 I’ve been collecting for quite some time. Not so much now though. Still have few of the early Hot Wheels from 1967 that my younger brothers didn’t destroy. I don’t have any in packages. I never bought any as investments. They display much better too. 9 Quote
S.Maug Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Your collection and display setup is very right on Aaron. so cool. I have several model car kits still unopened from the 70's when I was young. always was a modeler, cars, ships, star trek, planes, and military equipment. my wife got me a 70 SS monte Carlo model kit last October for my birthday. I promptly stashed back with my other model kits. Gonna have to find at least one Monte Carlo hot wheels style gem to have. you've re-peaked my interest. again. fantastic collection. 4 Quote
Scott S. Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Do you still have any of the orange track ? Or that "garage" thing with the wheels and motor that would shoot them along ? That thing was cool !! 3 Quote

I still have all my old hotwheels and cases from my childhood though. 4 Quote

SPLATT71MC Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 I have to find all my diecast Montes. I've still got most of my diecast collection in boxes from our move last year. I did take two of them and custom painted them in potential paint schemes I'd like for my real one. 4 Quote

cny first gen 71 Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 I went in to dealership to have a recall done on my truck where Tom Carter works he has a green monte hot wheel on he desk. Of course he has a blue monte so next visit I brought him one of the blue hot wheels that I have at home, he was happy. My grandson got one too. Think I have at least a couple more in there. I look for more when I'm near them in the store. 2 Quote
