Here are the pictures I took today, at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan, of 4 different first gen Monte Carlos.

I didn't get to talk to any of the owners and this is the first 4X4 Monte I have ever seen. (I didn't know it was an option) 🤣

NICE!  Other than a convertible I would certainly want to build one, too cool.

I'm thinking that's a K5 Blazer hidden under there..... Knew a guy in Edmonton back in the '90's that did the same thing to a '68 Chevelle.

I think it’s pretty cool. Removable trunk lid to access the fifth wheel attachment and looooong trailer to tow my cars. Hmmmm

A very good friend of ours is a tank mechanic, His Dad owns the Tank museum in Danville VA. We have done several car shows there and the place is incredible. We used to go there just to hang out  , never a boring minute !!

So many models to chose from......

But I bet it'd be great for working the farm....lolPanzer.thumb.jpg.caa3f894f92532e515653fd4448c6b45.jpg

I don't know about working the farm, but definitely a deterrent for trespassers 🤣

The 4X4 reminds me a lot of the Monte of The Month selection of April Sloof.  What do you think.

There is a 1976 Ford Ranchero in town that has been modified to a 4 wheel drive chassis.  It is called the "Red Neck" edition on the side.  Maybe that is the same edition as this Monte?  Usually, they are built in someone's back alley under nefarious circumstances!
