Local Show In Progress

At a show in a local suburb and found one other First Gen.  Stopped by the car twice to introduce myself, but my reputation must have proceeded me as the owner is nowhere to be found.😂.

Did the next best thing and left the FGMCC calling card on the driver seat.  Absolutely perfect weather and plenty of nice cars.  I’m really liking this ragtop ‘69 SS Camaro. 300 horse 350, factory AC and Vigilite option. Only demerit?  It’s a console delete column shift. But I still would take it in a heartbeat.

As always… the star of the show appears last…

He claims it is and I believe he said Canadian built. Original owner was reportedly a lady who sold real estate and specifically wanted the console delete in order to have somewhere to put all her MLS paperwork when working/showing houses.

EDIT:  car was built at Norwood and RESTORED in Canada

Hey Glen thanks for posting!!  I do like that Camaro out of all years made, for some reason even that combo i enjoy!!!   Your car looks as sweet as ever!!!!   But i do have a question, I only see one chair (very nice color i might add) but if there is only one chair, dont tell me you are making Amy stand again!!  LOL

If there’s anything you should’ve learned about me by now is that I’m a perfect gentleman 🤣😂.  And a second place this year… Better than a sharp stick in the eye!!

Very Nice on both counts!!!  However Amy did state the first time we met that you always forget her chair!!!   I gladly gave her one of mine!!  lol

Nice pictures . ! Thanks for sharing. .. when my wife and I both go I only take one chair also, I’m usually up walking around looking at cars too..
