DragCat Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 SAW THIS ONE THIS MORNING https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1971-chevrolet-monte-carlo-14/ 2 Quote
420ponies Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 (edited) Looks like a good start for someone for what I saw on it. I noticed it has the drain tubes for the rear window channel like I did on mine. I would like to see the under side of the package tray area. Gonna see what it brings price wise. sbarnette Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 Looks very original. I like it. 1 Quote

Especially for someone entering the hobby on a small budget, allowing them to enjoy the car while cleaning, detailing and addressing the obvious issues one at a time. Buckets, deluxe seat belts, 12 bolt posi and all the docs are a big plus. It doesn’t look like it’s been messed with much. The high dollar stuff like the area between the back glass and the trunk could be addressed later depending on what it ends up bidding to. The first thing I’d do is pull the back seat. Who knows? 1 Quote
Leghome Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 I wonder what that coil of tubing by the back bumper is for? Quote

Scott S. Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 I'm guessing air shocks..... The valve was mounted at the licence plate and run along the frame to them. Nice that they weren't just torn out when the shocks were changed to gas/oil. Quote
Marks71 Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 The description mentions it was for air shocks. Quote
Glen Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Where’s the AC compressor? And the ad states it has a tach… it does not. Quote

420ponies Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 I see it brought a respectable $ 16,000. Not bad for a great start on a First Gen! 1 Quote
