A lot of options, but no gauge package. It says it’s in the FGMCC SS Registry. Bidding ends tomorrow at noon.

Hope it does well. Only nit-pick things I see was overflow tank and needs exhaust tips. and original radio reinstalled.

Definitely a bummer on the gauge package for sure, also the thread bearing headliner needs to be replaced. Over all a fairly clean ride but it definitely needs a lot of attention!!

That’s a pretty nice 71 SS. There’s only a few things that need changing to be factory correct (steering wheel, exhaust tips, missing parts in engine bay, etc). It looks like there has some good attention to detail with the areas of the car that have been restored. It needs some rear springs to bring the stance up just a tad which will really make a difference in the overall look.

Seen it bid to 36,100 reserve not met. Hope they are worth more than that. I wouldn't take that for mine either.

I think this one should be at least $45k, possibly more but would need to see in person.

Welcome aboard the boards Alain, we hope you like what you see here and decide to become a full fledged dues paying member of the club.   We love our neighbors to the north.

The forum you are looking at you will find cars that people are members and trying to sell and cars they have come across on-line.  That is the case with this one, it more than likely not a members car.  member Dragcat finds these cars all over the place.

Again, Welcome Aboard!!!

I’m a bit late to this party and this is a very nice car, but I know of a certain ‘71 Lime Green SS specimen in much better overall shape 😉. And I’m with Aaron on this one… at least 45 stacks is a more realistic number considering overall condition, provenance and docs.

Yeah, but the forged build sheet is what separates it from lesser clones.

🙂What makes you suspect that the build sheet is forged?

Know a lot about these cars but would like to know more

That’s a running joke and really has nothing to do with this car. Sorry for the confusion.

When you read enough posts between Glen and Dennis you’ll see it’s just a couple of good friends ribbing each other. Happens all the time, and quite offen entertaining.

No problem, this club really has a family vibe to it. Were the cars for you or customers?
