For those of you who are in the know - What are the secrets to removing the vinyl top trim down the sides and across the back?  Do you have to pull the headliner to get to speed nuts or something?

The only speed nuts are the two corners below the back window, accessible through the trunk. The rest are all welded pins with plastic clips.

It snaps on to plastic/nylon clips that are held in place by studs welded to the body. I plastic putty knife should work to get under the trim to pop it off. The clips are probably brittle do to age but they are replaceable if they break. Once the trim is removed, you’ll see how the clips are removed. The 2 corner moldings near the base of the rear glass I believe are held on with speed nuts that are accessible from inside the trunk.

Hey guys.  Thanks for the tips.  I didn't really want to pull the head liner.  It is in pretty decent shape.
