Fall break

Took a little break last week, the weather was beautiful but trees had not changed color yet… what was left of them after the drought that is. I usually ride my bike to Tennessee and stay a week camping 🏕️ but they had flooding damage so I stayed in Ky at cave run lake twin knobs campground ⛺️.. had a great few days riding.. primitive camping, no electric, walk to get water in jug, tent ect ect.. ps, had to take screenshots of some of the pictures to get them to load. Lowers the pictures Mbytes. Showed location when I did that.. fyi

Hey Ron, Nice pictures!  I Love the trike! Another friend of mine was going to have his bike made into a trike. I think he looked into it and the cost difference was minimal so he just went out and found a trike and bought it.

When I go to tennesee-for the last 13 years- I trailer the trike.. so I just loaded it down this time, stayed in Ky.. only go once a year.. used to have an Electra glide but it was getting difficult to hold upright when stopping.. it was my favorite.. took it everywhere in the smokies..

Ron that's what my buddy said also, it was hard to keep the bike upright at stops!!! Thats why he decided to get the trike.

Maybe its just my Fl blood being thin Ron, but the way your bundled up doesn't register with me on you beautiful wether comment 🤣 I'll be up north next week, seeing the am temps in the 30's 🥶

Saranac lake ny has been in the 20s the past few nights, we've gotten frost here the past few nights here. We know it's coming 🥶

Our camping season is pretty much done, if I have to run the furnace I will but don't like it. Tent camping is pretty much done for me but given the right condition I guess I may. But anything below 50 degrees I ain't sleeping outside,  been there done that when I was younger.

Or on my back porch on a 70 degree night so the fridge and bathroom aren't to far away

It was cold when I left to camp that morning, but by noon I had shed most of that winter clothing.. it was in the upper 30s at night but I was warm in a 10 degree sleeping bag.. worst part tho was the hard gravel underneath and no air mattress.but i couldn’t take the whole house!🏠

Well,after all Rob , I  did take the wood burner stove out and installed a “GAS” fireplace:) 💨
