Seat belt retractor cover replacement

Is there a trick to removing the old cover for the new one

If I remember correctly it just snaps into place,  may have to kinda pry the old one off with screwdriver.  Look at the new one see if there is tabs.

Agree with Steve, should just squeeze off. Maybe a little prying necessary!!!

I’m able to remove from the cover from the retractor but getting it over the buckle is going to take some force I was hoping for a trick other than a hammer lol

Isn't it split to go over belt? I can't remember.

You’re going to have to work it hard to get the cover over the buckle. But it will go.
