FGMCC License Plate question

Hello All,

We're starting to run a little low on the Club's 1970-1971-1972 license plates and will be putting an order in sometime fairly soon. Currently, they come with a black background only.

 

 

Is there any interest moving forward, to consider a white background plate as well? Personally, I think the white plate may look better on certain cars, so it may be an option to think about. We have to put in an order anyways, so maybe getting some white ones may get us a better purchase price per unit.

Keep in mind, club merchandise is for full, dues-paying members, however there could be people who may want to join in the future, so their input is wanted too.

Oh yea I have the black one for mine. I kinda like the white but not for my car but I think your right may look good on some colors.

Not that I'm aware of, at least here with me. Dennis has the rest of the stuff now, but he didn't say anything about that item.

Yeah, your car is darker, a black plate would look better. 

My car, with Mohave Gold, and Argent Silver grill, I'm thinking white would be better. Maybe if the grill was blacked out, it would be a different story.

I have no hitch covers. Just finished inventory so I know that to be certain. lol.

No, we stock those in-house. Cafe Press sells the outer frames though, in a couple different styles.

I definitely like the Black background,  However, I agree, The White background might look better with some colors.

I didnt care for black or white on mine, shame since FL doesn't issue front plates so it just bare. 🙃 I even tried an old red Winston Cup plate, the search continues 🤣

Hey Joe, i like the white also. Maybe buy half your normal amount of Black and the other half White, and see how they sell. I know you're not taking orders, but i would be in for a White one, if not on the car, the wall is fine!!!

From what I see so far Willie, I will order some white ones for sure.

Not sure how many yet, but will try to buy them in a cost effective way. The more you get, the cheaper they are. I'll call them up and see if the volume discount is for just one type at a time (example: 1972 white only, then 1971 is another total, etc.), or if they'll count ALL years/colors as one order and use the total number of plates as the basis for price per unit. That would be ideal.

Alberta only issues rear plates for new registries these day..... Lucky I still had some old ones kicking around.
