Weather isn't to bad a little cool this morning but going up to the 40s today, and depends on who you listen to possibly a little rain tomorrow but who knows. There were some nice cars there though, but not a first gen in sight. I mentioned it on show fb page and they invited us to sign up for next year. Was a pretty good band there too but a bit loud and all the pin up girls were nice too. 7 Quote

jft69z Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 All in all, it was a great trip! It was Frank O'Connell's idea, and everyone agreed it was such a good one, we're already planning to do it next year. Thanks also to Steve L., for all you did to get restaurants lined up for us, plus the other details you helped with. It's really good having a local who knows the area help out. We did manage to sign up a new, full-member yesterday too, Doni Blanchard (Dman32) who also joined us at dinner & the hotel with his lady, Amy. Great people, and fit right into the group really well. We all had a lot of laughs! As we always say, it's the people in this club that really make it a great family to be a part of... 9 Quote
420ponies Posted March 23 Posted March 23 The car show was.... Packed !! with people, narrow isles , no good way to get any "good photo's. Nope , not one Monte Carlo (First Gen ), (1) 1980's, Many Mopar's also. Nothing like the Detroit Autorama, but decent amount of cars to look at. As you all know, it's the people and of course the food, oh the food was delicious !! And for the size of our group, things went very well. I'd definitely go again. 8 Quote
