Rob Peters Posted March 31 Author Posted March 31 We were approaching all of our rooms being taken but I have talked with the hotel and they can add some additional rooms. This is always a great venue for all ages. They have things for kids to do, they have things for us car people to do and they have a women's area. They have awards for Stock, Street and Modified classes. They have multiple classes for different generations of Monte Carlo's. They have a 10 Elite Awards. They have a professional judged area. They have a specialty building you can subit your car to be in (This year in the specialty building one of the cars they are featuring is Monte Carlo's for the 55th year of Monte Carlo. They have a large section of parts vendors. They have a car sales area. They have Celebrity Judge Awards. There is a Rolling burnout & Donut Contest and an Exhaust Contest and much more Like I said, they have a lot to offer. Let's fill all of our rooms and overflow rooms!!! Don't miss this FGMCC Mini-Meet rob 3 3 Quote

jft69z Posted April 9 Posted April 9 I got an email from the Carlisle event Manager , Ken Appell today. They're offering a discount for event registration for the next few days (good 'til April 16th), bringing the cost down to $40.09 vs the usual $50 to register. Last time they did this, they also applied the discount if you had previously paid full price, so it's worth a call to save nearly $10. As a reminder, it's always a good idea to get the optional 'trailer parking' for a few dollars more, to give you more options as to where to leave your car/trailer based on weather, hotel parking availability, etc. The link is below: Carlisle GM Nats discount registration 2 1 Quote

I had also received the same email newsletter from Ken Appell today. When I got the email newsletter from Ken and realizing they had refunded some peoples money when they did that last one I emailed ken to see if they would be doing that this time too and he said NO they would not be doing any refunds from previous registrations. rob Quote

Montemedic Posted April 10 Posted April 10 It’s in a nice large parking area within the grounds at Carlisle, secured with fencing and 24 hour security. The rows of trailers are spaced wide enough so you can hook up or drop off your trailer, pull in or out without an issue too. It’s also close enough to walk to and from our Monte tent on the Showfield. 3 Quote

Rob Peters Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 Yes, I have seen that one along with 2 or 3 others using our club cars to promote the show. I wonder if they are using any of those little clown cars to promote the GM Nationals... you know, those little American made ricer like cars. rob 3 2 Quote
