420ponies Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Saweeet !! That's going to go high on the bid if that information is right. Is that a Pontiac shift ball? Triple black to boot! Mark, this is the one you want for sure!! Drag race the green one, cruise in the black one! 2 Quote
Dtret Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Nice looking car. Probably out of my price range. lol. 2 Quote

It's different than the 1970 shifter ball. Non console 3 Quote
Scott S. Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Only 1028 miles ???? Where's it been hiding ??? 1 1 Quote

Scott S. Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 So you're thinking a new speedometer ??? Or just timed it right ??? lol I noticed his fuel gauge could use a little work, not to mention that it runs a bit warm at idle....... Still, at $70,000.00, it's pretty pricey. But that's just my opinion. 2 Quote

But that's just my opinion. Some people when they do a frame off restoration they wind the odometer back to zero. Just don’t do it like they did in Farris Bueller’s Day Off. 😂 The factory 4-speeds are very rare and sought after cars. More rare than an SS454. It doesn’t surprise me that it would command such a price. 2 1 Quote
Scott S. Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 If it's all factory.... I could see a good price on it. But one doesn't know until one digs into it. 2 Quote

Scott S. Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Rumour is that they sometimes get listed on Facebook...... I actually found most in my area list events on Kijiji, in the "Classic Cars" section. 1 Quote

Marks71 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Nice car. The price seemed fare to me. If the hammer was 55 what does the seller get, about 50? 1 Quote

Marks71 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I see that same auction had an 87 Chevette with 47 miles sell for 30k. Isn’t 47 miles about 1/2 its life expectancy? 1 4 Quote
