I need a new master cylinder and while I was lookin around I came across an Electric Power Brake Booster setup with 1-1/8" bore master cylinder and adjustable proportioning valve. Classic Performance Parts. Looks interesting. Any comments or observations?

FYI ...after, finally, getting my hands on a copy of the installation instructions -which was like pulling teeth- I decided not to go this route, at this time. They were describing -without clear diagrams- a complicated procedure that ended up with drilling a hole in the brake pedal arm. It's a GM A-body .... shouldn't be this complicated! That being said, I like the concept and probably ain't done with this electric booster thing.

My '86 T-Type came from the factory with G.M.'s version.

Worked nice until the impeller fins wore out. Then the expense began.  :(

There were only a few cars back then that used them, so G.M. didn't put a lot of effort into improving them.

Interesting that this type doesn't use a pressure tank.

Not a fan of cpp. Had a problem with a vacuum power brake booster and master cylinder assembly, worked good for a month then the booster went bad. Brake pedal hard as a rock, car wouldn't stop. Called them got the runaround. Bought different booster, all good now.
