Rear seat foam

Anyone ever bought the repro foams for the back seat of our Monte Carlo’s. I need to know the thickness and maybe the density, medium or high?

According to the cataloug, you can buy it in bulk form. 3'x5'8" pieces.

I believe it's either 3/4" or 1" thick and high density..... And probably easier to get from a fabric store.

I used 2" firm foam for the bottom and 1" medium foam for the upper, both high resilience (HR) foam. I bought it at a local upholstery supply.

Looks like it's from the GM Heritage packages.

We also have those here on the site, or can download them directly from GM.

Joe is correct - from the 1970 GM Monte Carlo Heritage package. A lot of good information in those booklets.
