Has anyone ran into this?  I have three different sets of links. Left to right. Amk G-5481 , center Moog K8266 and the two I pulled off the 70 SS ( most likely not original). All the sleeves are different lengths even between the same vendor. Chassis says nothing, assembly manual gives me a number for the sleeve ( 381955) but nothing comes up.

Interesting!

Your question made me wonder if there is a difference in the "link length" needed for a 7/8" front anti sway bar vs. a 1-1/8" front anti sway bar?

Many years ago I bought a 1-1/8" to replace my 7/8". ( think I have the longer connectors)

ive installed hundreds of moog  links over the years never paid attention to length. put umi sway bar on my car it came with longer links? i used links that came with tubular control arms.

Either one will work, when I worked in the shop if we didn't have the ones it called for we would use whatever was close. Is it right probably not but we never had a problem if it was close. Also some have a 5/16 bolt and some have 3/8 bolt. I prefer the 3/8 myself. If your changing bots the length is not a huge deal as long as it's close

According to the old Moog catalog I have there is no difference between the links and the size of the sway bar. I do know that the aftermarket bars are bent differently so that’s why the longer links are necessary also dropped spindles will play a big part in the length difference. The ends are the bar are supposed to be parallel to the frame with the suspension fully loaded, that’s years down the road for me though lol. My concern is with the length difference of the sleeves with it being the same manufacturer ( or so they say). With one sleeve being longer it will twist the sway bar slightly.
