willie Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I like it!!! Yes, it needs a little TLC but what one doesn't!!! 2 Quote
Glen Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Boxed control arms are MIA, also. But a heavily optioned car, no doubt because it was built for the ‘Research Laboratory’. Too bad whoever ordered it didn’t mandate an LS6 get dropped in it. Or at least an M21. 4 Quote
Scott S. Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Yup... A '72 hood spear. Bumper guards look like an add on, and I'm still not comfortable with the way the left headlight sits in the bezel. It's been on here before...... Just wondering if the lab banged it into something and rebuilt it. ??? 1 Quote
overdrive Posted March 6 Posted March 6 The vinyl trim is black? It has some issues, but not a bad looking car. Seat seams coming apart, sail panels, hood spear, a lot of weathered chrome, aftermarket leaf guards and air cleaner, etc. As normal, their price is way up there. Dan 3 Quote
MCfan Posted March 9 Posted March 9 In spite of a few noticeable deviations, that vehicle is as close to a documented, fully optioned '70 SS as I have ever seen advertised! In addition to all of the good SS stuff, it has buckets/console, a tilt wheel, gauges, power windows, power door locks, A/C, windshield washer monitor, light monitors, rear window defogger, remote mirror, AM/FM + tape player, front and rear bumper guards, door edge guards, positraction, etc. It would probably be quicker to list the options it doesn't have! It also happens to be my favorite color combo: Autumn Gold w/white vinyl top! Where was this beauty when I was looking for a '70 SS 15 years ago? BTW, I settled for a well-optioned Autumn Gold '70 SS with a black vinyl top at the time and enjoyed it for 8 years so I am no longer in the market. However, if I were, this one would get a very long, hard look! Lovin' it!! 1 Quote
