1970mcss Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I believe the parts place has complete sets. They have good quality parts. 2 Quote
cny first gen 71 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I don't remember where I got mine from (maybe Dixie) but the 10 piece set and wheel opening moldings were pretty good but the rocker molding was much thinner than oe one was. I still have original ones so when I get ready I'll clean them up some more and reuse them. Quote
Blackhawk Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I just got the OPGI set when it was on sale, I didn't notice a big difference in thickness but did not do a side by side comparison. Quote
Dtret Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I’ve used them on several. The fit and finish are great. Yes they are a bit thinner, just be a little more careful installing them. If you want NOS, you’ll be looking at 100 bucks plus per piece on the 10 piece set. And I’ll bet you can’t find the ones for the doors. The rocker chrome, if you can find it 300 at least. So we get what we get. I’m also pretty sure all the “stores “ get them from one manufacturer, so watch prices. 7 Quote
jft69z Posted March 6 Posted March 6 To add to it, as mentioned, the lower rocker trim is thinner than OEM. Use the Auveco 8400 plastic trim clips to install it, you're less likely to damage it during installation, than trying to get the metal clips to seat. 6 Quote
