Chevyz14me Posted March 31 Posted March 31 I remember on my '71, back in the '80's, I had painted mine a gloss black, and then once just past tacky, had lacquer thinner on a rag wrapped around a small 2x4 and ran it on the face to take it off of the front finish. Came out good from what I remember in the day. Wasn't trying for all restored original, just wanted it to look good. Man, I miss that car. Quote

Used my dremel and that was a $77 mistake it runs at to high of a sped and kinda burnt it so The Parts Place received an order $20 cheaper than OPGI probably more because of shipping from the left coast 1 4 Quote

Leghome Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 The lens finally arrived two days late according to the USPS when they feceived the package from the Parts Place. They really look great, so much brighter. Those clear lens sure make a huge difference. Never realized how bad they were until compared to the new ones. I think when a package goes thru Indianapolis it gets lost in the building. Supposed to have received my internet ordered prescriptions today also and they were shipped 3 or 4 days before the lens and the USPS website showed delivery today and you guessed it have not seen them yet. 3 Quote
