patman Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Guys, are the wide belt moldings two piece? My new Monte has them on the rear windows but not the doors. I'm trying to figure out what I need. I've own several 1st gen monte's but this is the first one I've had with the wide stuff. I don't know anything about them. My new car is a '72 Classic, Thanks Quote
B-Man Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I have the 'wide moldings' as it turns out. And I just replaced the weather stripping on them (not the interior door panel felts, they were fine) Another member pointed me to Dixie Restorations for replacement felts and weather stripping for the wide moldings. Maybe they have some of the actual wide moldings themselves?? https://www.dixierestorationdepot.com/Product/Detail.aspx?s=DA60034 WIDEMOLD&d=71 Quote

Dtret Posted March 17 Posted March 17 If it’s a 72 Custom (no Classic Monte) it will have the wide molding on the quarters and doors. 2 Quote
