MC-71 Posted March 27 Posted March 27 I’m sure you could negotiate the price. Net worth big block, 12 bolt rear, air ride, AC, Power windows. I pass. I’m to old. Quote
Dtret Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Based on the pictures I could believe it is a true 71SS. Obviously cannot authenticate but another tell tale sign is the pad ( or it looks like it) on the rear bumper. But the 72 rear trim is cause for concern. Quote
alain boileau Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Saving a basket case is very dooable .But major time and money$$$ Will see were I am sitting in 10 months?? This is not for the faint of heart Does it run under its own power IE loading onto a trailer? Alain 1970 442 4spd factory A/C🙂 Quote

From what i can make out, looks like its a 71 bumper pad on the rear bumper. But why does the 71 have the 72 3 inch trim moulding on her???? 30 minutes ago, bob 71 said: my car is a 71 not ss has the trim above back bumper Bob your 71 has the 72 3 inch trim moulding on her? 70white402 Posted March 27 Posted March 27 With the roof so rotted at the seam, it would be awesome to change it to a ss Monte convertible. Quote

70white402 Posted March 28 Posted March 28 If you got it for $4,000,it’s tempting. Born with drivetrain helps. Quote
