rottenx8 Posted April 12 Posted April 12 So, first, I want to apologize to Chris if I highjacked your thread. I am glad that you are on here. Welcome. I responded to your thread and then had questions. Then had many responses. I should have started my own thread. Still learning how this works. So, sorry Chris, hope to see some pics of your ride soon. next, back to my fuel tank issue. I looked underneath again, and I think what has happened, someone before me didn't know any better and bought a 3-vent tank. The two on the outside are connected. Now what I have found is that there is a third vent near the sending unit. It looks like they have taken a hose (what should have gone back to the sending unit) and hooked it up to the third vent. thus, leaving the return to the sending unit line open. So, I will be looking at getting a tank with no vents and the proper gas cap. Thanks to all that have responded to help. Lastly, Rob had mentioned Lutty's in PA. When I went back through all my books and paperwork, there was receipts in there from Lutty's. Small world.  This really is a great bunch of dudes. Doug If you have a second line that comes out the hole by the passenger lower control arm ( by the fuel pump) then that line connects to that and it’s a return for the fuel pump. 1 Quote
Chris Bryant Posted April 12 Author Posted April 12 Thanks everyone. Here is a picture of the car and the engine bay. Would love to bring her to the car show but I'm a bit scared to take her on a long road trip right now. IMG_20250410_193320.heic 5 Quote

We'll see you in Kentucky in a bit. Like I said on the phone earlier, give Ron a call to get him on board.  6 Quote

Chris Bryant Posted April 13 Author Posted April 13 Rob I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to bring her. She needs some work like a new suspension and probably some brakes 1 Quote

As i said in another post, i attended about 5 meets without my car! If your not 100% sure about her this year, leave her home and use your Daily Driver to attend the show. We all , well most , some of us did it for years. LOL Thats how you meet everyone and get to know us! The car is secondary!!! 3 Quote
