Dtret Posted April 19 Posted April 19 This is the newest to the fleet. 71 bought from the original owners, club members Alex and Valerie. The car was parked in the garage in 1987 and hasn’t seen daylight until yesterday. Engine issues are why it was parked so a rebuild on the rusted parts of the body was started. Most all of the parts purchased for the car were bought from the gm dealer and most have never been installed, things change over time as the car sat. Here are some starter pics. 10 Quote

I say that because they look like they are in that new new metal primer on them. rob They are NOS quarters, fenders ( hung on the car for space saving measure, wheel wells, wheel molding, a lot of the lower chrome, door handles, mirrors( inside and outside ( he actually got them from GM for both doors ))and other stuff. 6 Quote

He says that’s the way it came and I have no reason to doubt him because there are no staples. Hmmmm. and another dashpad has a single front speaker, the car has air conditioning, has that been seen before. 2 Quote

I would have thought a factory would have had the head of the bolt exposed and the threads and nut hidden on the inside. Regarding the dash pad, again no, especially since it had an AM/F. stereo radio. Is there a speaker under there and if yes, how did they fit it along with the AC ductwork. rob 3 Quote

The main thing is someone has to be the sickest, and i think you take that spot!
