Nice car. Might come our better to save the NOS for more rare car and use AMD to fix this one. Although I'm installing NOS fenders and quarters on a 1970 350 car but the customer had multiple sets lol

Interior looks mint!

Exactly my plan. Thanks

I was thinking the same thing Steve!!!    But knowing Dennis he will win the bet, but at what cost, breaking the front glass, scraping the new fender, or worse both!!!!  I have an idea Dennis bring her to Carlisle and we can all help you install the hood!!!!   lol

Thanks for the suggestion. But unless we can do quarters at the same time , I’ll pass. I’ve trailered that enough. lol.

Core support totally redone. I have to figure out what I want to do to the grill yet. I left the fan shroud off ( I have a correct one for it) because I going to do some engine work. That’s why there are no fenders also. It’s just easier to work on. May have to pull the heads, as it has a potential bent valve ( 80 pounds compression on # 1) the rest are 140-160. Could be a lifter also. Time to get to doing some yard work.

I think that having the fenders off will make it much easier to work on the engine...... But where will you set your tools ???

Or beer ??

I was thinking the same thing. I may put a fender on a sawhorse that way things seem normal.

So very true.  Cut our yard on Thursday and cleaned all of the leaves and weeds from around the base of our hedges yesterday.  Will have to trim the hedges for the first time this week.

Okay Dennis how much do you think that hood weighed? Do you have a bathroom scale? Can you stand on it while holding the hood.💪

Karen won’t allow a scale in the house because she says if she gets tempted to use it she will get depressed and mad. I don’t need that.

I know that action..... My Dad never met a twig/branch he didn't like. :k

Had a heck of a bonfire after he passed.

You're going to ruin those slippers using them to do yard work.

I tried that with my spare hood it didn't work out so well. Someone said around 8 pounds,  sounds about right to me.
