I replaced my vacuum advance canister on my distributor. Engine is running great.

Good to hear.... Did you go with a factory unit, or get an adjustable one ??

Can you believe the difference that one item does to the tuning of a motor? I'd like to know what your timing is set at now.

I set the timing at 12 degrees btdc with the vacuum line removed and plugged. Then when I plugged the line back to the vacuum advance the idle speed increased so I backed it off. Seems like throttle response from a dead stop is quicker. In gear I have it idling at 650 rpm. It's running great 👍
