Figured I'd start a thread to add pictures of my collection as I aquire it. Picked up my first pieces this weekend. A 1:64 scale I bought at Walmart yesterday and a 1:18 scale I bought at the Goodguys car show in the swap meet today. Including a picture of the cabinet I built for my VW collection. Going to have to build something to display my Monte Carlo stuff. :)PXL_20230924_195332839.thumb.jpg.007ae7e25ab2df44260e99167f442bb3.jpg

Nice detail on the SS . When I collected die cast (mostly nascar) I focused on 1/8, but have 1/43, 1/24, and 1/64. I was at the local wallymart after your original post but they didn't have the Crow Monte

PS. Old photo from the TV room. I'm downsizing the house at the end of the year so everything is getting boxed

Do you think these die cast SS’s are also cloned?

Asking for a friend…

… who lives in Ohio

Framed my Dealer poster and picked up a new diecast at a car show last weekend.

I just picked up this one this morning on my road trip. Searched for stuff on my route on Facebook Marketplace and arranged to pick it up along the way.

What a great deal. Went to 2 good size shows in the last week and both venders were $10 per car for those same cars.

For those of us South of the border, How much is that in real money?  I am guessing just over $1.25USD each.

Hey, you had to go south to find a buyer for "Penny" who respected her value.

It's the shipping that bumps up the prices of everything. That, and the wonderful tax system we have here. :(

Yes, classic cars tend to sell for less in Canada but the parts and pretty much everything else that goes into them cost more up here.
