Crank Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I have purchased steel inner fenders from amd to replace my old ruined plastic ones. I would appreciate some assistance in finding the proper forum on this subject. I know I have read it before, but for the life of me cannot find it! Thank you in advance. Dale Quote
cny first gen 71 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Never done it, nor would I, but I guess some of the holes have to be opened up a little bit but not sure which ones. There was some discussion about it somewhere but not sure where. Good luck. 2 Quote
420ponies Posted April 23 Posted April 23 The newer style steel (manufacturer), are a lot better as for fit now. I have steel in mine and have for (17yrs). Just took them out for painting (color match ). I like them because they give the front end a little more stability. It had plastic before and those didn't fit good at all. I guess those have come a long way also as to fitting. 11 Quote

420ponies Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Yes, I really like how it all came together after those inner fenders went in. The BBC on the other hand, was a bit more of a struggle with all the "mods" ($$), to make everything fit. 2 Quote
