I have purchased steel inner fenders from amd to replace my old ruined plastic ones.  I would appreciate some assistance in finding the proper forum on this subject.  I know I have read it before, but for the life of me cannot find it! Thank you in advance.  Dale

Never done it, nor would I, but I guess some of the holes have to be opened up a little bit but not sure which ones. There was some discussion about it somewhere but not sure where. Good luck.

The newer style steel (manufacturer), are a lot better as for fit now. I have steel in mine and have for (17yrs). Just took them out for painting (color match ). I like them because they give the front end a little more stability. It had plastic before and those didn't fit good at all. I guess those have come a long way also as to fitting.

Yes, I really like how it all came together after those inner fenders went in. The BBC on the other hand, was a bit more of a struggle with all the "mods" ($$), to make everything fit.
