Dtret Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Kansas, that’s easy compared to Texas. This car is a hodgepodge of parts. No interest unless it’s got docs 1 Quote
Marks71 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I don’t understand how a car could be titled using the vin from a known replacement door because the dash vin is not readable. Here in California, a vin verification is required if bringing a vehicle from another state or if the vehicle fell out of the system do to a certain number of years of non registration. Quote
Robnhood Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Seeing the hood pins brought back memory of when my car had them, and the burning desire to make them go away! Quote
DragCat Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 Florida is or at least was very picky on classic cars from out of state. My cougar has 3 VIN locations, they knew and checked all 3 . The Monte, even tho having current tags, insurance, and registration in CA needed additional paperwork signed by the seller besides the title 🙃 Quote
