Kansas,  that’s easy compared to Texas. This car is a hodgepodge of parts. No interest unless it’s got docs

I don’t understand how a car could be titled using the vin from a known replacement door because the dash vin is not readable. Here in California, a vin verification is required if bringing a vehicle from another state or if the vehicle fell out of the system do to a certain number of years of non registration.

Seeing the hood pins brought back memory of when my car had them, and the burning desire to make them go away!

Florida is or at least was very picky on classic cars from out of state. My cougar has 3 VIN locations, they knew and checked all 3 . The Monte, even tho having current tags, insurance, and registration in CA needed additional paperwork signed by the seller besides the title 🙃
