Robnhood Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I have to take my gas tank down when I install the fuel Injection kit on my monte carlo. Where would you guy suggest getting the replacement? I am thinking that I would want to the return line, but I haven't specifically looked. Quote
jft69z Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Are you using an 'in tank' pump, external pump, looking for a EFI tank/pump unit that has built in baffles? There are units that don't require a return line too. You need to be more specific on what you currently have as far as EFI kit/parts on hand. Quote
Robnhood Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 So my original thought was to stick with the stock tank, and purchased a Holley Snipper 2 EFI with inline/external fuel pump, and it does have a return. After looking at the tank yesterday, I am thinking that I should replace it, and wasn't neccesarily thinking I was going to need to before. Hindsight vision is also better. Oops. LOL! Quote
420ponies Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I bought the complete sniper kit (with tank). It comes with the "sock" filter fuel pump, and Holley said it will work. I'll find out if it all comes together this coming winter. I'm running my carb on the BBC for the summer, get all the bugs worked out. The new tank I think does have baffles in it. I'll check it out and report back. Tank was an extra $300. 1 Quote

I need to drop it and readjust the sending unit. Instead of PTA-G I would look at their fuel pump assemblies: https://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=227/category_id=136/mode=prod/prd227.htm 1 Quote

Actually, they first recommended the GPA-4, but the Holley Sniper 2 EFI kit that I have included the fuel pump. Quote
Blackhawk Posted May 5 Posted May 5 I don't, I put it in 5 years ago when I was doing the engine swap. Quote
