72 Monte Carlo Posted May 6 Posted May 6 I switched from the stock split bench front seat to a set of buckets, and I just realized that I would need the bucket style Black inner seat belts. Quote
stangeba Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Here is a picture of my MORRIS 3 point replacement, showing the difference of the bench vs bucket seat female end of the belts. I don't know if OEM is like this or not. I suggest you replace yours with the MORRIS 3 point safety belt system. 1 Quote

I'd rather just replace the inner two seat belt units close to the trans tunnel. Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted May 15 Author Posted May 15 Does anyone have just the inside two bucket seat belt receptacles in Black? Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted June 5 Author Posted June 5 Anyone else have a set they want to part with? Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted June 6 Author Posted June 6 Also, I need (1) chrome horseshoe for the rear taillights. I didn't realize that one has some pitting in it. I'd rather have an OEM for them as I read that the aftermarket ones can be a little bit off spec. Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted June 25 Author Posted June 25 Still mainly looking for a set of black factory inner bucket seat belts if someone on here has some. Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted July 10 Author Posted July 10 Anyone have any Black inner bucket seat belts? Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted August 15 Author Posted August 15 Bump......for black front bucket seat belts needed. Quote
stangeba Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Sorry, I have a bench seat. In 71 there was an option for deluxe seat belts. The female connector was small compared to the stock / standard belt connector. (See Picture) The standard stock system required you had to tighten your seatbelt, it was NOT self adjusting like the deluxe. The deluxe SHOULDER belts also required you tighten them. I don't know what 72 had. Good luck 3 Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 My seat belts have the automatic retractable male side and the 2-1/2" wide female side of the belts. My original question was does the inner front belts between the bucket seats and the center console, have the stiff outer coating so that they sit in place so a person doesn't have to hunt for them? GRAY 70 Monte Carlo Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Mine do not they sit in the pockets mounted to the console 2 Quote
Dtret Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Where the inners bolt to the floor they have a vinyl, maybe something a little harder, cover that goes over them with a little snap button. 3 Quote

72 Monte Carlo Posted September 8 Author Posted September 8 Those two inner female seat belts are what I've been looking for. Quote
Scott S. Posted September 8 Posted September 8 They're typical for most "A/G" body cars..... Someone on one of the Chevelle sites might have a set, or if you've got a local wrecker that has cars that old, you might have some luck there. Quote

72 Monte Carlo Posted Wednesday at 09:07 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 09:07 PM Is this style considered the standard or deluxe seat belt? I'm assuming that only the deluxe style would have the vinyl covered inner female receptacle side of the seat belts. Quote
stangeba Posted Wednesday at 09:17 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:17 PM Check out the MORRIS 3 point safety belt system for the ft two seats. I like mine. Quote
