clint w Posted May 11 Posted May 11 My wife and I took our '72 on its first trip yesterday. About a 2 hr drive to New Bern NC for the 32nd annual AACA spring car show. I wanted to drive the car more locally before taking it on a long trip but this show looked a like a great one. Said a prayer and hit the road. The car did great on the highway cruising 70 mph most of the way. Downtown historic New Bern is a such a beautiful place to host a car show (much better than sitting in a parking lot all day especially if you take your wife). There were about 300 cars there. My car won 1st place in its class. 12 4 Quote
cbolt Posted May 11 Posted May 11 The birthplace of Pepsi! That truly is a beautiful town, and your car only makes it that much more scenic. Gratz 5 1 Quote
