Interior parts need from someone going to Sommerset

Does anyone going to Eastern Meet in Sommerset have either a ash tray assembly or correct springs for a 70 model for sale also need 2 chrome armrest bases

Any of the chrome bases I have are not really chrome anymore. You may want to check The Parts Place

Could also use black armrest bases just don’t want to order a/m parts unless no other choices

Maybe I’m not thinking of the part you’re thinking of. I’m thinking the chrome “ sheet “ that the armrest base screws to. The base itself will be interior color and then of course the pad. The ones I got from The Parts Place were pretty much perfect.

They probably have the ashtray springs too.

A word of caution, if you use the armrest back plates, AND , you have to replace the door latch shaft, the replacement door latch shaft is to short. I have not found the longer door latch shaft mechanism anywhere…

I don’t understand why rod would need to be longer if only replacing the inner trim .all I need is the base next to trim panel mine is black but all I have found is chrome see attached picture .i would prefer black if I could get them

I took mine and painted them with SEM Trim Black

If you look closely at upper edge is broken off

If you flip it over or scratch it , is it chrome underneath the black?

I replaced mine, and if I still have the originals I will dig them up and bring them to Somerset. Ill post up if I find them and pack them. I may have pitched them but you never know.

Greg i would think some PO just painted it black, just ask for a used OEM one and paint it black.

Sorry it’s taken some time for me to reply I have been on the the road all day.To  answer the question they were not painted just black I couldn’t find any that were not chrome and figured since trim panel already has chrome accents it would work but would be glad to find used and paint them  if anyone has a set to sell If not will just order a/m chrome that Dtret posted

I did find some but the mount tabs are broken on all of them.
