4spd Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Hello fellow members. My name is Christopher. I've already had the pleasure of chatting with a few of you on a prior thread. I'm the guy with the Cranberry Red w/black vinyl top 1970 400sb 4spd. I also own a 1972 Mohave Gold w/tan top. We are currently restoring the 1970. I really really wish I had found you guys when we started the restoration process. Finding date correct oem parts has been our toughest obstacle. I want this Monte to be as close to original as humanly possible. We are struggling to find the rarity of this car. I've never seen production #s for the 400sb (specifically) with a 4spd. All the charts show the 400 & the 350. Anyways, it's nice to meet you all & im excited to be part of this group. Hopefully I'll be able to come to a visit soon. 8 Quote
420ponies Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Welcome Chris ! Glad you joined our FGMCC. That 400/4spd, is a special one for sure.Where did you find it? Sounds like you and Joe T have the same '72 color combo. Very nice! Maybe when you have some down time, you can fill us in on the story of each Monte Carlo you own. Again, welcome to the Club! 3 Quote
