Scott S. Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I even went so far as to price the fabric out at a local fabric store. But figured by the time I cut it out, located all the clip holes, and made one, the price wasn't really any cheaper than ordering one................. 1 Quote

420ponies Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I have a 1" spacer with my 750 Holley ,and a speedmaster air gap on my BBC, no issue with air cleaner .low base, twin snorkel style. 3" air filter. The reason for the spacer? Pheobolic, keeps engine temp. off carb base. You can get these in 1/2" also. 3 Quote

Chevy Dave Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I have only been purchasing from OPGI for the last 2 years, but have not had any issues. When they quote you a ridiculous shipping price check to see your shipping options. The USPS is usually much more reasonable. 2 Quote
bob 71 Posted May 28 Posted May 28 i have a 1 inch spacer (phenolic) holley carb no fitment problems. if you are worried about air cleaner clearance go to dollar store buy some play dough put on top of air cleaner and close hood with air cleaner stud removed. worked for me 2 Quote

Probably a "Canadian" thing. Quote
