In two weeks from today (Wednesday June 4) some of our members will start arriving in Carlisle for our FGMCC Mini-Meet/2025 Eastern Meet.  Boy is the time flying by.

Thanks to some of the members who were planning to go to the Somerset, KY meet for doing an about face and deciding to make the trip to Carlisle.  I think we picked up 3 or 4 members that had planned to attend the Kentucky meet and are not coming to Carlisle.

It hasn't been very long since the Kentucky Meet had to be cancelled and we started the steps to do an about face and make the Mini-Meet a full blown Eastern Meet.  A lot more work goes into a full blown Eastern or Western Meet than what goes into planning a Mini-Meet but in two weeks we have shifted into high gear and are on track to kick this Mini-Meet off as a full blown Eastern Meet.

I think 4 or 5 members are now planning to arrive on Wednesday rather than Thursday.  There will be some door prizes to unload, a trip to Walmart to purchase the club water and some snacks.  We will head out to the show field and check out our area and see how large of a club canopy we will have.

One of the cars Carlisle Events is honoring is our First Gen Monte's for the 55th Anniversary of Monte Carlo, it seems like it was only yesterday when they featured us for the 50th Anniversary.  As of right now I have almost 55 members registered with me to attend.

Patsy and I are going to head up there on Tuesday of next week and get the final arrangements completed with our caterer regarding the Saturday evening dinner and the Thursday evening pizza party.

If you are not registered with me to attend and would like to please contact me as soon as possible.  We will do our best to try to snag you a room at the club host hotel at the club special rate.

You can leave me a PM here on the club website or you can email me at rob29ford@aol.com

Just lettin' everyone know, looking at weather for the week/weekend in Carlisle, it's going to be great for ducks during the week and a scorcher on Friday(88 deg.) ,and Saturday(87 deg.). Let's just hope the forecast stays that way. Don't need liquid sunshine,I think we've had enough already.

lol. It was mission critical when my shorts were falling off. I tried to find one in the swap meet. No luck. I should have used a ratchet strap. 😝

Dennis, we always have plenty of Zip-Ties we could hooked you up with.  Either make you up a belt or suspenders out of them.

O sure. Now you come up with all the good ideas. Not sure about zip ties, may be a problem in an emergency situation. If you know what I mean.
